Karen Stewart

Department Administrator

 

Karen has been with Political Science at Iowa for over 30 years. She is the administrator for faculty, current students, and external grants. Karen coordinates the department’s budget, financial transactions, all interdepartmental transactions, special events, conferences, and speakers.

 

 

Carole Eldeen

Undergraduate Secretary

 

Carole keeps undergraduates informed of registration deadlines, new courses, and other requirements. Carole also manages the department’s calendar. Carole Eldeen was recognized for 20 years of service in March 2005. She has worked with the Department of Political Science since March of 1985.

 

 

Wendy Durant

Project Assistant

 

Wendy works with prospective graduate students by fielding questions about the doctoral program, and the application process. She coordinates placement materials for advanced doctoral students on the academic job market. Wendy maintains the departmental web pages and newsletters. She has been with the department for 10 years.
