Fields: Major James D. Fielder, USAF, is a first year graduate student in our program, starting in the fall 2009 session. He is an active duty Air Force officer on sponsorship through the Air Force Institute of Technology and was previously an assistant professor of political science at the U.S. Air Force Academy. He has a B.A. in history from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, an M.A. in National Security Studies (with honors) from American Military University and completed coursework in political psychology at Stanford University. His current research interest is the impact of information technology on international relations.
